Millions of people have no political home.

They love their country and want government to work in the national interest. My ambition is that the SDP builds the home for them.

People walking towards the open doors of a brick building, still being built around them: a political home for millions.

Eight parties. None of them serving over a quarter of Brits

A heatmap of British voters on two axes, state-led to free markets and globalist to rooted, with the eight parties plotted. The rooted, active-state quadrant holds 28.7% of voters and only the SDP sits in it.

This heatmap shows the concentration of Brits across the political spectrum. Most of Britain is in the top half (rooted, patriotic). Nearly 30% of us want a competent, investing state. Only the SDP can serve them.

British Election Study Internet Panel, Wave 30 (2025), n = 30,317. Position is attitudinal, not vote share.

Empty attention backfires. The SDP can do things better.

  1. Attention

    To build

Nobody is owed coverage. You earn it by becoming impossible to ignore. We need to do that with size and impact, not noise.

  2. Brand

    To build

People need to grasp who we are at a glance, feel good about it and want to share it - and share in it.

  3. Substance

    Built

Serious policy, a coherent philosophy and a temperament people trust. William built this, and no other party can match it.

Why nobody else can take this ground

  • The legacy parties

Captured by activists, donors and weighed down by their records. They can't face reality so they can't do what's needed.

  • The insurgents

Built on noise and anger, which wins attention fast, but it doesn't sustain. The SDP has an opportunity to do it differently, learning from their mistakes.

  • The SDP

No client groups, no donors to placate, no record to hide. We can start from first principles and say plainly what Britain needs.

The road to 2029

  1. Now

    01Now to May 2027

    Build the machine

    • Start fundraising
    • Comms build-out
    • Develop systems
    • Start teambuilding
    • Campaign prep
  2. May 2027 local elections

    02May 2027 to May 2028

    Grow and test

    • Test membership funnels
    • Strengthen our regions
    • Build the candidate pipeline
    • Develop deep political intelligence
    • Continue fundraising
  3. May 2028 local elections

    03May 2028 to July 2029

    Get election-ready

    • Build the war chest
    • Swell our numbers
    • Prepare for defections
    • Build a national and local campaign
  4. 2029 general election

    • 20,000+ members

    • A pipeline for more

More members bring more money, more attention and more hands. That attracts donors, strong candidates and creates momentum.
