Why are you standing?+
Because the SDP is right about almost everything and heard by almost nobody. William Clouston built deep foundations — a serious philosophy and policies that hold together. The problems now aren't foundational, they're operational: money, reach, organisation, comms. That is work I know how to do.
What do you actually want to change?+
Not the party's principles — those we should defend. The change is in execution: bringing in the money, taking our ideas to the country beyond the people who already agree, and building an organisation that can actually win. The six Building the Party areas are where that gets worked out with members.
How would you work with the NCC?+
Every proposal here is a direction of travel, not an alternative governance structure. Where the rules require NCC consideration or approval, those processes are followed. The argument is for stronger execution through the party's legitimate institutions, not around them.
Are you arriving with every role already filled?+
No. The campaign proposes a leadership team — including a proposed Deputy Leader, subject to NCC approval — but much of the wider team is still to be built. The six building areas are deliberately open invitations for members to step forward.
